Brief Summary
This report synthesizes the findings and strategic directions from the First and Second Sanitation Accountability Symposiums (SanAccs 2023 and SanAccsII 2025). Organized by WaSHVoice in collaboration with partners including KEWASNET, APSSA, and KEWI, these convenings represent a critical shift in Kenya’s sanitation sector. The focus has transitioned from merely identifying systemic hurdles to formulating actionable, stakeholder-led solutions. These efforts aim to fulfill the constitutional right to reasonable sanitation (Article 43[1]) and accelerate progress toward Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6.2.
